On Monday, 4th November, 2024, the lodge held its annual general meeting.
During the proceedings a large and distinquished deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Middle Ward was received headed by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Andrew D. Millar.
The purpose of their visit was to dedicate the new chain of office for our Right Worshipful Master and to witness the presentation of a Jubilee Certificate to Bro. Andrew Mitchell.

At our regular meeting on Monday, 2nd September, RWM Bro. Steven McGuire welcomed Right Worshipful Masters Bro. John Chambers, Cambuslang Royal Arch Lodge No. 114; Bro. David Arbuckle, Lodge Oatlands No. 1005; Bro. Fraser McDonald, Lodge Kirkhill No. 1230 and Bro. Frank Kelly, Lodge McLaren No. 1688, as well as three Past Masters from the United Grand Lodge of England.
The victorious Lodge Buchanan bowling team of Bobby Tait, PM, Fred Stibbs, PM, Alan Fellows and Jim McGall, PM, who defeated Cambuslang Royal Arch Lodge No. 114 in the final to retain the Frank Elliot Dobie Cup.
It was a tremendous effort from the brethren and an excellent finish to what was a highly successful tournament.
Message from The King
When His Majesty King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer on 6th February, 2024, Bro. Archie Fotheringham, PM, lodge secretary, sent him a get well card signed by the brethren of the lodge and His Majesty has graciously replied.
The lodge's annual installation was held on Friday, 1st December, 2023, when Bro. Steven McGuire PM was installed as Right Worshipful Master for the fifth time.
